Fort Myers River District Art Galleries Map
A thriving commercial hub by day and
exciting cultural center by night, the downtown Fort Myers River
District is filled with avant-garde art galleries, trendy boutiques,
antique shops, and relaxing sidewalk cafes and restaurants set in
historical old buildings once frequented by Thomas Edison, Henry Ford
and Harvey Firestone. Today, the sizzling art scene is fueled by Art
Walk on the first Friday night of each month, Music Walk on the third
Saturday, and weekly events at the Sidney & Berne Davis visual and
performing arts center, the Florida Repertory Theatre and the world
headquarters of Art of the Olympians.
With numerous galleries and five major
public art installations, the River District is truly southwest
Florida's epicenter of art and culture. Look over our map of the incredible
viewing choices available
while you are in the downtown Fort Myers River District. Information for
