Each January, hundreds of the area’s finest — and other nationally known — artists descend on Naples for the Art Fest Naples at Fleischmann Park to sell their wares, including oil, acrylic and water color paintings, blown glass, turned wood pieces, sculptures, jewelry, and a variety of mixed media. This is one of Naples favorite art shows in a beautiful park setting!

Art League of Marco Island Fine Craft Fair

The Marco Island Outdoor Fine Arts & Crafts Fair provides browsers and art enthusiasts with some of the region’s best original artwork, including paintings, watercolors, photography and digital art, ceramics, pottery, glass, clothing, jewelry and mixed media work. The Art League of Marco Island hosts this Fair each January, February and March.

The annual ArtFest Fort Myers, Southwest Florida’s premier art festival, takes place on the waterfront in historic downtown Fort Myers. This is Fort Myers’ only free, two day art extravaganza, decorating the downtown with exceptional artwork, entertainment and children’s art activities. Attendees enjoy and purchase artwork in a variety of mediums and prices from nationally recognized artists from across the country and around the world. It's better than a gallery – there is lots of variety – you can talk to the artists – you can view the work of over 200 fine artists in a single weekend – you can introduce your children to the magic of original art.

This colorful celebration will feature more than 50 custom hot air balloons and plenty of fun for the whole family including tethered balloon rides, live music by award-winning performers, food vendors, an art showcase, children’s activities, carnival games, acrobatic kite demonstrations, a classic car show, demonstrations by agility dogs and more. Admission is free to the all-ages festival.

Each year, the Cape Coral Festival of the Arts is a family event bringing art, culture and fun to Lee County. Held the second weekend of January, this Festival brings hundreds of artists and over 100,000 people to Cape Coral Parkway to participate in Cape Coral’s most successful and long running annual events, featuring paintings, photography, sculpture, jewelry, fine crafts and mixed media. The Festival also includes a children's play area and activity center and food from a variety of vendors and local restaurants.

The Estero Fine Art Show™ happens twice annually in the fall and in the winter. Juried by art professionals, this high quality fine art & craft event brings world-renowned & top notch local artists to sell their paintings, clay, glass, sculpture, wood, fiber, jewelry, photography and more at Miromar Outlet Mall. All work is original and hand made by the artist who is present at the show and happy to answer any questions about his or her work. You will see artists at this event that you do not see at other Florida shows. Live art demonstrations allow many opportunities for the patrons to be able to understand the processes that the artists go through to create their specific medium. There is also live entertainment, which does not interfere with patron and artist.

The Fort Myers Friday Art Walk is held the first Friday of each month from October through April from 6-10pm, then continues on Saturday from 11am-4pm. The Art Walk takes place just steps from the broad Caloosahatchee River along First, Dean, Lee and Jackson Streets in the completely refurbished and restored downtown Fort Myers River District. These bricked thoroughfares with wide sidewalks are dotted by some of the River District’s best galleries and boutiques.

Naples Art in the Park

Naples Art in the Park started in 1957. After many location moves through its years, it found its home on Park Street alongside The von Liebig Art Center. The Naples Art Association hosts this juried outdoor art show which is held on the first Saturday of each month from November through April. The show hours are 10 am until 4 pm.

Naples Artcrafters Fine Art & Craft Show

Started in 1967, the Naples Artcrafters have been putting on fine art and craft shows. Its members include painters, potters, jewelers and just about every other artistic discipline imaginable. The group holds shows in Cambier Park from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. the second Saturday of every month from October through April. The event and parking are free.

This Art Festival is held in North Naples in The Galleria Shoppes at Vanderbilt, situated on the road that houses two Ritz Carlton Hotels. The Galleria Shoppes at Vanderbilt location is inspired by classic Mediterranean design, rich in ambiance and liberal with luxury, fine dining and one-of-a-kind boutiques. This is a very convenient show to visit, with plenty of parking. This is a small intimate show that will allow you to meet and speak to all of the artists and not have to fight large crowds. Additonally, this event supports the Harry Chapin Food Bank.

Consistently voted among the top 10 art festivals in the country, the Naples National Art Festival was ranked 9th best in 2010 by Sunshine Artist Magazine. A competitive, juried event, this fine art and fine craft festival showcases the talents of over 260 artists. The festival is held in scenic Cambier Park and along 8th Street South, one block from Downtown Naples’ premiere shopping and dining district.

Each year in February the Pine Island Art Association hosts its annual Fine Art Show and Sale. The event features works from more than 100 local artists and includes more than 500 paintings in acrylic, oil, pastel, pen and ink and watercolor, with an emphasis on Florida landscapes, seascapes, birds, fish and flowers. The Show draws return visitors from many parts of the United States to Matlacha, where pelicans and great blue herons circle above moored fishing boats, brightly painted galleries, and fresh fish markets.

Visitors have the opportunity to interact with the artists, learn what inspired them, and discover the techniques they used to make their artworks and wares. Along with traditional original oils and acrylics on canvas, museum board and wood panel, festival-goers will find watercolors, drawings, pastels, photography, pottery and ceramics, fiber art, glass art, metal sculpture, handmade Tiffany-style lamps and handcrafted jewelry.
