J. Howard Wood Theatre Description:
The J. Howard Wood Theatre is located on Periwinkle Way at Sanibel Island, just east of Tarpon Bay Road. This theatre is very intimate, with only 180 seats, none of which are further than 15 feet from the stage. The theatre’s Pirate Playhouse troupe typically performs comedies, musicals and Broadway favorites, but also presents anything from modern drama to Shakespeare.
