Description:
The Arcade Theatre is home to the Florida Repertory Theatre, an ensemble-based company established in 1998 and the only professional regional theatre in Southwest Florida. The Florida Repertory Theatre offers a year-round season of contemporary plays and musicals. The building (the Arcade Theatre) is a Fort Myers landmark that was built in 1908, originally used as a vaudeville house, and later used by Thomas Edison to view his first films. The theatre seats 393.
