Everglades Excursions Description:
Everglades Excursions picks up its guests from Naples in a “Safari Wagon” for a day of fun in the Everglades. First, you'll take a Jungle Cruise through the sawgrass prairies and mangrove wilderness. You may encounter alligators and manatees, as well as a variety of birds such as the Blue Heron, American Egret, Bald Eagle and Osprey. The tour includes lunch – a Safari appetizer, choice of sandwich and beverage. At the Gator Exhibit, you’ll see alligator wrestling and a wildlife show. Here you can hold a baby alligator. Next, you’ll enjoy a narrated tour of Everglades City and you will visit the Rod & Gun Club, a general store, a museum and other historic sites. Next on the agenda is an airboat ride through the 10,000 Islands, then a tour through the Fakahatchee Strand State Preserve where you’ll encounter natural wildlife.
