Description:
The Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary, located in Naples, is a 14,000-acre nature preserve with 2.25 mile boardwalk trail. You’ll encounter various habitats – pine forest, wet prairie, bald cypress, sawgrass marsh, and more. The Sanctuary is home to all sorts of wildlife, such as birds, alligators, deer and bears. Check their web site to learn when various species are most likely to be seen. The Blair Audubon Center at the entrance of the Sanctuary includes a theater, a tearoom with food service, classrooms, artistic works and a Nature Store.
