Description:
The Collier County Museum, established in 1978, explores Southwest Florida's history over the past 10,000 years and includes a five acre botanical park with orchid house, two early Naples cottages, a logging locomotive, swamp buggies and more. The Museum has a small shop with books and gifts. The Museum does not charge an admission fee, but donations are accepted. The main Museum is located off Tamiami Trail East, just 5 minutes from downtown Naples. Branch sites are located in Everglades City and Immokalee.
