Description:
The Calusa Nature Center and Planetarium is located on a 105-acre site in Fort Myers, just north of Colonial Boulevard east of I-75. It features nature trails, a museum, a planetarium, a 1,000 square foot butterfly aviary, picnic areas and a gift shop. Spend some time at this nature center and learn about southwest Florida’s natural history and wildlife. There are scheduled programs throughout the day, such as guided walks, live animal feedings and presentations, and a planetarium show. The center also sponsors a gift shop with a wide variety of natural history merchandise.
