Description:
The Big Cypress National Preserve is an over 720,00-acre home to Florida’s wildlife, including deer, bear, panther and an abundance of bird life. Here you can camp, canoe, kayak, hike and picnic. There are a couple scenic drives for viewing this natural preserve by car, one 17 miles and one 23 miles (note that most of the roadway is gravel). Additionally, you can make a reservation to join a ranger for a swamp walk, canoe trip, bicycle trip or various talks.
